Our heritage
MERROWBRAND was founded in Istanbul by shoemakers of the third generation. For us, shoemaking is not a new trade: the skills of the workshop have been handed down from one generation to the next. Our craft heritage goes back to 1989.
Over the years we have built experience with European customers, and we continue to develop our range with that experience in mind.
Our craft
We believe a good shoe starts in the workshop. Our approach brings traditional craft knowledge together with modern design thinking, so that each model is made with care and looks right today.
The barefoot line
Our newest line is a range of barefoot shoes. It combines workshop craft with contemporary design, respects the natural shape and movement of the foot, and puts the health of the foot first. You can read more on the barefoot page.
Classic models
We also make classic, everyday shoe models. They come from the same workshop and the same tradition, and they give retailers a dependable core range. See the classic page.
